Can your lightning bolt do this?

Is there ever anything interesting to see in the direction opposite the Sun?

This is a gibbous Moon. More Earthlings are familiar with a full moon, when the entire face of Luna is lit by the Sun, and a crescent moon, when only a sliver of the Moon's face is lit.

If you look closely at the Moon, you will see a large airplane in front of it.

What kind of rainbow is this? In this case, no rain was involved -- what is pictured is actually a red cloudbow.

What's that rising from the clouds? The space shuttle.
