Did you see the full moon last night?

This is a gibbous Moon. More Earthlings are familiar with a full moon, when the entire face of Luna is lit by the Sun, and a crescent moon, when only a sliver of the Moon's face is lit.

Our Moon's appearance changes nightly. As the Moon orbits the Earth, the half illuminated by the Sun first becomes increasingly visible, then decreasingly visible.

What's that spot next to the Moon? Venus.

If you look closely at the Moon, you will see a large airplane in front of it.

These people are not in danger. What is coming down from the left is just the Moon, far in the distance.
